COASTAL METROPLOIS

Day 01: COLOMBO

• Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, please clear immigration, collect your luggage then proceed through the customs green channel to the arrival lobby. Travel Avenues representative will be waiting in the designated area with a paging board. You will then be escorted to the vehicle park for your transfer. (30 km, 45 mins to Colombo).
• Check-in to a hotel/guest house and relax.
• Visit Gangaramaya Temple (1 hour).
• Afternoon:Explore Independence Square and take fun selfies (30 mins).
• Enjoy shopping at One Galle Face Mall (optional as it can be arrange on the final tour day).
• Evening:Walk along Galle Face Green. Try spicy street food like “isso vadai” (prawn snacks).
• Ride a tuk-tuk around the city for fun! (Optional)
• Overnight stay at the hotel/guest house.

Day 02: COLOMBO to GALLE

• Morning: Take the scenic train ride to Galle (120 km, 2.5 hours). (Train ride is optional)
• Visit the famous Galle Fort and stroll along old streets and ramparts.
• Afternoon: relax at Unawatuna Beach. - Swim, sunbathe, or just nap by the waves.
• Visit the Sea Turtle Hatchery nearby
• Evening: Return to Colombo
• Overnight stay at the hotel in Colombo.

Day 03: COLOMBO to NEGAMBO

• After morning breakfast, drive to Negombo (Approx: 1 Hr).
• Take a boat ride in the Negombo Lagoon. Spot birds and fishermen.
• Afternoon, visit the Dutch Fort and St. Mary’s Church.
• Return to Colombo hotel and overnight stay.

Day 4: COLOMBO to BENTOTA

• Morning after breakfast, drive to Bentota (Approx: 1hr & 30min).
• Enjoy a thrilling Madu River Boat Safari. See mangroves, monitor lizards, and birds.
• Afternoon: Relax on Bentota Beach. Swim and splash around (2 hours).
• Optional: Jet-skiing or banana boat ride.
• Evening: visit Lunuganga Estate.
• Return to Colombo and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: COLOMBO

• Morning: Visit the National Museum of Colombo. Learn about Sri Lanka’s history.
• Explore the colorful Pettah Market for souvenirs.
• Afternoon: Visit to Vihara Mahadevi Park for a relaxing walk or picnic.
• Evening: Enjoy a Colombo Night Tour by tuk-tuk or bus. See the city lights and famous spots.

Day 6: DEPARTURE

• After breakfast, relax at the hotel or Galle Face Beach until hotel Check out time for departure flight.
• Do some last-minute shopping or visit Arcade Independence Square.
• Proceeding to airport for departure flight.
