Emerald Heights

DAY 1: COLOMBO/AIRPORT – ELLA

  §  Starting the tour either from Colombo or airport, and proceeding to Ella. (Approx: 6 hrs)

  §  While on route, clients can enjoy the scenic views of the nature

  §  Reaching Ella town, relax in a cozy café, explore local shops, and enjoy the cool mountain air.

  §  Visit to the Ravana Falls, for a scenic view of the waterfall which is ideal for photography. Located outside Ella.

  §  Visit to Ella Spice Garden

  §  Overnight stay at a hotel/guest house in Ella.

DAY 2 & 3: ELLA

  §  Morning after breakfast, a short hike on the Little Adam’s Peak, for stunning panoramic viewpoint of the surrounding tea plantations and mountains.

  §  Visit to Nine Arches Bridge, the famous iconic railway bridge surrounded by lush greenery. Best viewed when a train passes through.

  §  Relax at a local spa with traditional Sri Lankan Ayurveda or other rejuvenating treatments. (optional)

  §  Next day early morning, visit to Ella Rock. A more challenging hike than Little Adam’s Peak with rewarding views.

  §   Afternoon: Haputale and Lipton’s Seat - A serene viewpoint where Sir Thomas Lipton surveyed his tea empire; surrounded by breathtaking tea estates.

  §  Evening: Visit to Adisham Bungalow (Haputale) - A charming colonial-style bungalow now a monastery; set in tranquil gardens.

  §  Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4: ELLA – COLOMBO/AIRPORT

  §  Early morning before breakfast, visit to Diyaluma Falls. Sri Lanka's second-highest waterfall, perfect for a quick trek and refreshing dip.

  §  Visit to Ravana Cave. A small, ancient cave linked to Sri Lanka’s legendary Ramayana stories.

  §  Proceeding to Colombo or Airport. (Approx: 6 Hrs)

  §  Drop at Colombo or Airport, & end of tour.

Note: Last day of tour, sights will be visited depend on the departure flight or other arrangements of the client’s.
